Description

A 1/16" wedge and clips tile leveling system is a tool used for installing tiles to ensure they are level and evenly spaced. It consists of the following components:

  • Plastic clips (1/16" or 1.5mm thick) that are placed between the tiles to create consistent spacing for the grout lines. The clips help align the tiles and prevent lippage (uneven tile edges).

  • Reusable plastic wedges that are inserted between the tile and clip to hold the tile at the desired height and keep it level with adjacent tiles. The wedges compensate for any minor irregularities in the surface.

  • A plier-like tool is used to press down and lock the wedges in place, securing the tile's position.
